Input Leap with Wayland support is on its way!

Hi all,

One of the hurdles I had with Wayland was its sub-par input-leap support.

Finally the long-awaited update with Wayland support has been packaged for Fedora!

So that’s one less thing blocking me from using Gnome/Wayland…

P.S. They’re aggressively pushing Wayland so I’m getting nervous about being stuck on X11. Having said that, as long as there are Nvidia issues I doubt X11 will be going away.

Fedora is removing X11 for Fedora 41 for both GNOME and KDE Plasma. There might be a COPR repo down the road if you really need it, but yeah everyone is aware that Nvidia drivers have major issues with Wayland, but that’s kind of on their part to fix that.
