UEFI firmware update makes sense when Blufin is run on physical machine.
But I am running Blufin inside virtual machine.
If I update system manually with ujust update then I see section with
WARNING: UEFI firmware can not be updated in legacy BIOS mode
and then downloading firmware. This happens every time…
and wasting some resources on my computer/network and on server from where this software is downloaded.
If Blufin is run on virtual machine could be checked with:
sudo dmidecode -s system-product-name
and I get: VirtualBox.
