I have two GPUs, which iso should I start with?

I was trying to be fine with not running Bluefin because it didn’t have zfs, but now that it has zfs, I’d like to give it a try again. I previously asked this question, but it didn’t get any traction.

I have an Intel Arc A380 that drives my displays, and an Nvidia RTX A4500 that is for ML only. Would I be better off starting with the Intel iso, then trying to add Nvidia support, or starting with the Nvidia iso and trying to get Intel working?
Thanks!

The intel drivers are in the kernel so using the nvidia image is probably the way to go since that will have both.

Yes, you are 100% correct. I have hybrid graphics on my Dell laptop. When I tried using Intel ISO, I faced issues after installation. When I switched to NVIDIA ISO, it worked like a charm. :dizzy: If possible, mention that on the downloads page so people will download the correct ISO.

Agreed.

It says “What is your primary GPU?” on the download page.

My primary GPU is my Intel one, but because I didn’t download the Nvidia image I ran into issues when I wanted to do some stuff with Ollama.

So is zfs setup by default?

In @j0rge ’s last update video (always enjoy his videos), he mentioned that it is included. I believe since it is more advanced, it is undocumented to lower support requests. A kind of, “if you know, you know.”
(I may be wrong.)

(Started to start a new topic, but didn’t want to attract undue attention to zfs :slightly_smiling_face:)
