I’m probably about to install Bazzite on my gaming rig, and I’m excited. However, my 2-PC streaming/recording setup is pretty heavily dependant on NDI to get my footage from one PC to the others.
Given that Bazzite is an immutable system, and that’s honestly what I’m here for despite my lack of experience with them, I was wondering how you’d suggest installing the base NDI libraries and tools. I’ve looked, and found no information on this.
Will I have to use rpm-ostree (which I understand isn’t usually the recommended approach), or is there a way to make the library available from a distrobox container?
I feel like a dummy, but here’s some info for anyone else who’s ever been confused about this: the obs-ndi flatpak doesn’t just come with the plugin for OBS, it also comes with the requisite libraries. Just install it and you’re good.
Greetings, I am also attempting to set up NDI on my two bazzite PC’s, to no success.
As shown in the attached image, it seems like its all installed, i just added the related plugins for OBS at install on both systems. but i’m not sure why the steam pc wont detect the stream. If you have any insight what would be great, as I have yet to find a satisfying guide on YouTube yet.
