How to dual boot with Win11?

Hi,

I tried to install first Windows 11 and then Bazzite on a separate internal drive and the first time it booted correctly, then after booting in Windows 11, it stopped working, saying that it cannot find the path to the boot files anymore.

At the beginning I just followed the normal installation, which didn’t automatically see Windows 11. So, after booting into Bazzite I updated Grub so that it could see Windows 11 as well. This worked only once and never again after booting into Win11 and back into Bazzite. Is there any special way to do this? Or what can I do now to be able to boot into my Bazzite installation again?

Did you update so that grub points at the win bootmgr? If it’s actually booting directly to win11 and you didn’t shutdown correctly the ntfs filesystem can’t be read by Linux.

I had to reinstall. With a re-installation now booting seems to work pretty well. Although there are other issues…
