HDR unavailable on GNOME 48

Hi all,

I updated from stable to latest to take a look at GNOME 48.

While HDR is available on Ubuntu 25.04 (gnome 48), Windows 11 and Tumbleweed (Plasma), it’s not here on Bluefin :thinking:

I’ve also tried to create a new user, but nothing changed.

is this normal for everyone?

Using an Nvidia RTX 4080 laptop with external DP monitor.

late edit: I’ve tried to reinstall bluefin and update on an external usb disk just to double check if I did something wrong. It doesn’t work the same. On one side, it’s good to know as I’m not really interested in re-installing/re-configuring.

+1 on release version using 48.2 on a Nvidia 4090

Okay, thank you. There’s clearly a potential issue and I don’t know if I should report this. I’ll take a look later.
