HDR broke / not working after version change

Hello there, first time poster and newbie of Linux.

I have a question and wanna share an issue that I had and how I “fixed” it:

I’ve noticed today, that HDR in games weren’t working anymore. Before, it did.
My setup:
-Nvidia
-ProtonGE
-Steam launch commands: ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 %command%
-HDR enabled and calibrated in KDE Plasma.

**After rolling back versions it DID work again luckily.
**
Details:

-The two different versions from me:

rpm-ostree status -v
State: idle

And here the changes from certain (probably the faulty) packages:

I hope this helps anyone who has the same issue.

So my question is: What exactly “broke” HDR? I’m guessing the Nvidia driver update?
Also do I just try and hope that after some days the issue gets fixed in a new update?

Thanks for reading. Anything is appreciated.
