hello, i have a intel arc gpu and a amd 8500G processor. i’ve installed gpu screen recorder from the gnome store and noticed that screen records take root access to access the display. so the display has to root accounted, how do i check if i have the display correctly installed and configured since i have regularely problems with the gpu to not be initiated. the software shows me it’s running on intel, but is it correct intel gpu initiated or does it bug by installing intel drivers and running intel instructions on my AMD cpu?? the other question is, portals record doesn’t support HDR, that’s clear, but how do i make sure that i’m recording HDR when gnome has no HDR support integrated. the display has a HDR mode and is just brightness adjustable over the operating system once it’s activated, i have made the last record over AV10 10Bit non HDR which worked out fine! how do i know that the AV1 HDR records are actually HDR, how do i configure bluefin gnome to support HDR on the desktop?? thank you!
And Another question, is the HDR function on the Display Root Access with Operating System and Display supported natively supported with the 8500G Rev1 which has a PCI Bridge error and IOMMU damages? my Asus Tuf Plus b650 board i have bought new for the 8500G has massive problems with the PeCoffLoader and runs confused instructions and buffs the VRM’s up while that happens. it’s related to the display root access problem which my intel arc dg2 rev8 which doesn’t have display root access supported on the platine pipeline and logic cluster system level, the interface is massively distorted by that problem.
the thing with that problem is, that my mainboard doesn’t support displayport output by the mainboard video output adapters, the display needs root access since startup, i use my Wavlink UG69PD27 KVM box and it’s also not able to send a video signal of the system over usb4 thunderbolt/usb c over the system to the screen. i have a second usb c docking station, the DOCKCASE Explorer Edition, which has a screen on it’s surface which actually confirms that the board is sending “Host supports ?” and mainline “DP AltMode Error”, so the displayport is by the system output over usbc in atmode error, which doesn’t confirm if altmode does work as a fallback, or that even the displayport sends a altmode error, which means that the platine is impacted by the problem, where with the PeCoffLoader problem the VRM’s are disturbed in consequence. infortunately my Asus Tuf B650-Plus board i have doesn’t support luks tpm lock switch options on the bios, just the TPM system can be deactivated, but i lose the SDL 1.2 or 1.3 security socket by turning TPM devices off, that’s a problem. i’ve heard the Maximus Series has luks tpm options support on the bios, but i would need to impedance ram socket configure the system, but there’s no tutorial available to configure the dram socket for the display mode altmode error online i’ve seen so far…
