Creating a new Hyprland image

Hey people!

I want to start creating my first own image. It should be a semi-opinionated (less traditional like Fedora) set including

  • Hyprland
  • all main tools
  • cool stuff like Alacritty, fish, eza, bat etc

I am using Kinoite-main currently and dont really think I will switch to Hyprland soon haha, but I would really like to try it out. But I am a bit confused

  • what packages are included in main? These ones are probably only the added ones, but what is the base?
  • What packages do I need to achieve normal DE-behavior including all the normal things like printing, archive manager, bluetooth, volume control, battery control, energy settings etc?

I would like to create a good setup, and can really need your help.

Startingpoint is a great project, it is so easy to create your own distro!

also, if I should keep two branches always, how do I remove the “open pull request to template” enforcement? I already set the template to be read only but still on every commit to the branch I get that message

and github actions build from template always, not from live?
