Coolercontrol no longer recognising my fans after 44 update

hello, ever since the last update coolerontrol does not recognise my fans anymore.

in the log it says

[2026-05-15T19:07:49Z WARN cc_detect::module_loader] Failed to load module nct6687: modprobe: FATAL: Module n
ct6687 not found in directory /lib/modules/6.19.14-ogc5.1.fc44.x86_64

I have attempted to load the kernel module myself but cannot get it to work, can anyone assist?

update: I rolled back the update which seems to work for now but I would still like to know if anyone has a fix
