I switched from a surface laptop to framework to get smoother ublue experience but I’m getting some hiccups during the download. I chose the bazzite installer for a framework/AMD/GNOME laptop and on the installer it gives me failed to write boot loader configuration and the machine fails to boot up. If it helps I also have the encrypted harddrive option selected.
I’ve tried installing with grub2 for ventoy and that failed with the same error. Then I wiped the USB and flashed only Bazzite onto it and that still failed.
I’ve even tried this configuration and it’s still giving me the same error.
No matter what configuration I do on this laptop it pops up with the same error.
I am not dual booting, I am wiping the entire drive. I have followed the manual instructions in the link I posted, which includes creating a separate /boot and /boot/efi. I have tried the following and it still produces the same error:
Manual Partitioning Scheme:
mount point: /boot/efi
