Bazzite 44 update causes my machine to boot into maintenance mode, but won’t let me log in as root, or ctrl-d to continue. Since I can’t get into the system, how can I troubleshoot?
Using nvidia kde desktop image. Have rolled back to version 43.20260420 so I can still use the pc.
F1 quickly when you start the PC. After the Bazzite logo you should see GRUB with options like ostree0, ostree1 or more. Choose the one below or try another. If you finally boot into the system, put this in the terminal: rpm ostree cleanup p
Thank you, that’s helpful to get back into the older bazzite 43 image, but I’m looking for a way to troubleshoot the new image so I can switch to bazzite 44.
