Aurora in a 2 in 1 laptop, screen rotation

Heya, total linux newbie here. I got a little x-plus piccolo laptop and install Aurora on it. Automatic screen rotate isn’t working. I got it to the right orientation manually through display settings. I guess I’ll look through the flathub for a solution. Do you guys have any tips? Thanks.
EDIT: Oooof, ok. When I close the clamshell and open it again, it doesn’t wake up from sleep mode.

If you are a Linux newbie, Gnome instead of KDE may be better for you to get started. You can install Bluefin, I have an HP 2-in-1 and screen orientation works, on screen keyboard works, closing lid to sleep/wake-up works.

gnome vs kde doesn’t really matter. Its more about the hardware if there is actually a support for the hardware in the kernel or if there are some specific packages that are needed.

good starting point is linux support in to the search engine and go from there

I’d get regular stock Fedora

I’d grab a stock Fedora Live USB and boot from that to see whether it shows the same behavior in Fedora. If it fails there too, it’s likely a Fedora issue rather than a Universal Blue Aurora issue,

If it fails on stock Fedora as well, post on the FedoraForum “Using Fedora” section and see whether anyone else is experiencing the same issue:

Using Fedora.

Hm, trying out Bluefin, running it from USB. I seems to run well, but it still has the issue that it won’t wake-up from sleep. I’ll try posting on their forum.

Maybe that device you use simply isnt supported or needs some exotic drivers. I had never heard of it btw.. on common 2-in-1s like Lenovo, HP it shouldn’t be an issue.
