With all changes to comes this year, I’m not sure if GRUB2 will be kept, but for the time being, would be nice to have a theme for GRUB2. Mainly I see people on Bazzite, probably on the other ones too, kind of afraid or concerned when they see GRUB’s “select your image” black screen. I think a theme for GRUB would be a nicer thing to have.
Maybe change the labels either with a bit more description of what it is or does.
We have no plans to start poking the grub during build time. There is so much that can go wrong when doing that.
So we are sticking to the crude looks of Grub.
Maybe when/if Fedora moves to systemd-boot. I don’t think it’s there yet, but that might solve that problem in the future someday. I have no idea how one would migrate from GRUB to that without a complete re-install. Feels risky.
Doable on Fedora, BUT may be complicated automating it for an atomic one.
