[ 0.273492] Initramfs unpacking failed: invalid magic at start of compressed archive

Something went wrong trying to boot 41.20250105 at aurora:stable:

[ 0.273492] Initramfs unpacking failed: invalid magic at start of compressed archive.

Went back and booted from previous image: 41.20241229.

How can I fix this? Perhaps delete the failed boot entry and repeat the whole update process.

Thanks

Can you paste the output of rpm-ostree status? Do you happen to have a local override for Initramfs there?

No, I guess not. At least I did’nt mess with anything.

You have few packages layered but no initramfs overrides. those packages shouldn’t cause boot to fail.

You could try running ujust update I think we made a new stable image today for another issue.

It worked. Probably something went wrong with my previous update. Thanks.
