I’ve had bazzite on my gpd win4 for around 8 months and its been great. Today when I tried launching games through game mode they just wouldn’t launch. I switched to desktop mode and launched steam from cli and tried to run a game and it gives me this error message :
pressure-vessel-wrap[20619]: E: While reading a line from /var/home/speck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/SteamLinuxRuntime_sniper/sniper_platform_0.20240916.101795/usr-mtree.txt.gz: Invalid compressed data
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
You could try moving the file to trash and let steam download it again.
Thank you! I just deleted the file and then right click steamlinuxruntime-sniper3.0 in my library and clicked verify files. Games are launching again! Thank you again sir
