Switched GPUs and SDDM is not starting anymore

Hello fellas,

I’m running the Nvidia-Desktop image on the testing branch. Yesterday my 5080 arrived so I switched my beloved 3080 Ti with. Prior to this I made sure, that the 570 Nvidia drivers were installed.
The card itself is working, under Windows 11 I played Alan Wake 2.

The screenshot shows, that the open source kernel module is wanted. I don’t understand why.
As far as I’ve read, the 570 brought support for the 5000 series, was I wrong?

Sorry for the image quality, I had to use my Macbook to take the picture. The display is not that dusty as it looks, I swear :smiley:

I tried a just update and rebooted, nothing changed.

Am I fucked or is there a way to get my Bazzite running again completely?

Are you on the nvidia-open image?

The latest 50XX series only support the open kernel module / driver. So you need to be on the nvidia-open image.
