Feature Request:
It would be extremely useful to add a refresh rate selector to Bazzite’s Steam Game Mode overlay, alongside the existing frame limiter options. Currently, refresh rate is coupled with the limiter, and finer control would be useful for helping TV users avoid the more noticeable judder that can be more pronounced at high refresh rates on larger displays.
Justification:
SteamOS on the Deck supports refresh rate switching per game
Gamescope supports setting refresh rate, but Bazzite Game Mode doesn’t expose this in the UI
Would improve quality-of-life for TV users and desktop gamers running high refresh displays
Eliminates the need for manual CLI workarounds
Example Use Case:
A user playing a 90 FPS-locked game on a 120Hz display wants to avoid judder by setting the refresh rate to 90Hz. Currently, this must be done manually or post-launch via the Steam overlay.
