Rebase Aurora

Bonjour,

On the configuration system i disable Rebase Image because after rebase one time,
image take place in the disk so i would like to know if is necessary to enable rebase,
and what is this option in the configuration system is important to do like weekly and also is possible to delete the image or not----> not used to leave space in the disk

Thank you

Rebase is a way to change from stream to another.

For example if you are on aurora:stable with rebase you can switch to for example aurora:latest stream.

There is no “disabling” of rebase. It’s just a feature to switch to more frequent builds/images

thank you,

so if i disable rebase image and of course enable automatic update system when did i receive the next update system or image from Universal ?
of course i understand then all the application are in update with Flatpack.

What do you mean by “rebase image”?

The settings panel in KDE System Settings is just a graphical helper for rebasing to another stream of Aurora.

You don’t need to touch it unless you want to change the image stream. It’s basically just a graphical UI for ujust rebase-helper terminal command
