Ptyxis not showing root-based distroboxes

I found out that Ptyxis is not listing distroboxes that are defined to run as root. This while testing a gparted distrobox. Gparted will not run in a distrobox unless is built as real root. See link here.

Same happens with distrobox list

The only way to list root distroboxes is by explicetely declaring it in the command

distrobox list --root

Would there be any way to tell Ptyxis to work with root-distroboxes?

Would be nice but you don’t see them in podman or when you “distrobox list” either (unless you specify —root).
