Problems with Distrobox & Brew

I came from Fedora KDE spin to Aurora with the hope of less messiness on my system, but this has frustratingly not been the case.

Brew is seemingly not installed on my computer, I’m still at a loss as to what the cause could be, and now I’m having issues with distrobox too.

I installed a .deb app through a Debian Container created in BoxBuddy, and it worked perfectly. However, the app does not appear in the BoxBuddy Application List, and when trying to run distrobox-export --app [app-name] I get the response /usr/bin/distrobox-export: line 437: XDG_DATA_HOME: unbound variable. I tried doing the same thing with the filepath instead of the app name, and this time it worked, but then opening the app just brings me to the terminal that says Failed to find executable /usr/bin/distrobox--nter: No such file or directory

I tried the same thing with a different app, in the .rpm format on a Fedora container, and the exact same errors happened with no differences.

I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling BoxBuddy, and installing distrobox-git. No changes.

I don’t know if the brew issue and this issue are related, but they may be.

At this point, I’m considering reinstalling my entire operating system again, with the thought process that I irreparably messed something up during the initial install and setup. If anyone has any advice for how to fix either of these issues to save me from doing that, please let me know.
