Powermizer options missing since F41 update

I’ve been using X11 before the F41 update. Now I see this seems to be removed. I’m using an Nvidia card (rtx 3080), and was using the “Prefer maximum performance” setting in PowerMizer.

Since the only option seems Wayland now, i don’t seem to be able to set this option anymore. The whole Powermizer section is missing in the Nvidia settings.

This option is absolutely necessary for me. For some reason I have issues with artifacts / lockups when the card scales down (when not gaming). This does not occur when running a game, only when it scales down. I have been using this option for years because of this.

Since the setting is not enabled anymore, the artifacts are back.
Rebased to the last F40 version for now. Is there going to be a fix for this?
It’s also fine if there is another way to set this from Wayland.

EDIT: BTW I already tried re-adding X11 using
rpm-ostree install plasma-workspace-x11

This re-added the X11 option, but it won’t log me in. After filling in login info it just returns to the login screen.

Wanted to edit my original message, but somehow can’t seem to find the edit button anymore…

Anyway, after some search, found this:

This is for ubuntu, so I’m note sure if this would apply to Bazzite, since it’s Fedora based.
This tells me I would need a dummy xorg server as a workaround to be able to set the PowerMizer settings if i understand correctly. Except the first step (install xorg) would have to be “layered on the os” I guess using something like

rpm-ostree install xorg

This gives me “error: Packages not found: xorg”
Would above method work at all for Bazzite? If yes, could someone point me in the right way? I have some basic Linux knowledge but I haven’t been able to figure this out myself.
