Hi, I installed Bazzite yesterday, and despite Claude’s help (I don’t have much computer knowledge), my MediaTek MT7902 Filogic 310 Wi-Fi card wasn’t detected by the OS… Do you have any solutions or recommendations? (I’m French)
I searched online, and it seems like the driver for that chipset was half-baked, but good news, Mediatek has finally released a driver for it: https://www.phoronix.com/news/Mediatek-MT7902-Linux-Patches
I think it got merged into kernel 7.0. Right now Bazzite is on 6.19 with 7.0 coming soon. So I would recommend waiting until that.
(you can try backporting the commit but I wouldn’t recommend it for a new user)
