Hello whenever I try to launch Spider-Man I get the message no graphics card detected. I have a miniforum HN2763 with Intel ARC A770. I tried both bazzite steam and bazzite gnome steam.i have proceed to play but I can only select ok with a mouse and keyboard. Also send like it may be using the igpu instead of dgpu.
I’m not using Bazzite, but …
If you right-click the application icon (Steam, I guess?), you might be able to select Launch using Discrete Graphics Card.
I’ve seen something similar for Nvidia GPUs floating around, not sure if it would work for Intel ARC tho.
You enter the following string into the Launch Options of whichever game you’re going to play:
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia %command%
How to reach Launch Options:
Summary
-
Select game from your Steam Library
-
Click on the gear (
) icon to the far right of the window -
Select Properties
-
Launch Options should be an empty field on the first screen that pops up
-
Paste the string in that empty field, close the window and test it out
Also, I ran this command to check what GPU was being used:
lspci | grep -Ei 'VGA|3D'
Should output something like:
03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Navi 33 [Radeon RX 7600/7600 XT/7600M XT/7600S/7700S / PRO W7600] (rev c1)
78:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Rembrandt [Radeon 680M] (rev 0a)
This post over on the Fedora Community helped me determine which driver was in use:
