After the update the desktop did not load and there is this error on the monitors
Error loading Applet: package org.kde.plasma.folder does not exist.
I tried loading the old ostree but the problem persist
sorry i forgot to mention that originally there was this other error after the update:
and i followed the suggestion and deleted that file, hoping that the file would be rebuilded but no, now there is no main.qml file in the folder
Update
i’ve found the default main file from kde repo
copied in my path and at least there is a desktop now but it doesn’t show any file on the desktop…
I’ve also noticed the following error in the system tray in the notification icon

i wish i could just get back to the previous version of kde at this point…
I’ll just update this thread i guess with my troubleshooting
Previously the old ostree image was not working but now it booted me to the old version of the system, with kde 6.2 and everything works like before (this is why i love aurora 
)
So, right now, i guess i want to delete the newest image and try to update again and see if it gives me the same error
The upgrade did not change anything, the problem is still there, with the notification plasmoid not working and the files not showing on the desktop.
Also in the Desktop options the side options location, icons and filter are empty
I don’t really know how to move past this, if anyone has a suggestion its appreciated!
Try a fresh install with a new ISO, those were updated yesterday
