My system is not updating to Plasma 6.3

I noticed my system hasn’t updated to Plasma 6.3 so I tried to perform a manual update to find this error:

I’m not sure how to solve it, though. I never installed extra themes, so this came out of the blue. Can anyone help?

Have you layered the darkly package to your installation?

You propably have to remove it and then upgrade.

no, I never did, unless it came with Tailscale, the only package I layered.
I tried to remove it but it says I don’t have it :man_shrugging:

Tailscale is on the image.

But can you show what does your rpm-ostree statusshow?

If you do have any layered packages, I recommend running rpm-ostree reset, it should clear up any layers and get you back to stock. Then you should be able to update!

thanks, now it tells me Darkly was removed.
I’m still confused, though. I never layered it, and Discover shows it wasn’t installed. Trying to remove it using rpm-ostree resulted in a “there is no package with that name installed, so I can’t remove what’s not there, you ninny!” type of error.
Once again, the system only has flatpaks and I layered only Tailscale following this Troubleshooting :: Fedora Docs so I still have no idea how it got here.

Hard to say. The rpm-ostree status would have showd the layered packages.

So Darkly might have been part of some other package dependency.

But anyways, you should not layer Tailscale either as its already on the image.

I’m sorry @inffy, I read your reply after the one from @RealVishy so now it’s too late for rpm-ostree status. Can we still be friends? :innocent:
