Just did a system update today, and the controllers stopped functioning, only the top two buttons work, none of the others would work, tried testing in the settings on the desktop and they wouldn’t work, rolling back the update didn’t resolve it.
I found a small reset button on the right controller and after pressing that the controllers started working again, quite odd.
