I want return windows 11

i need return windows 11 so i need rufus is it there any app like rufus or i need do something different also ventoy wont let me install it

There is now Linux version of Rufus.

There are different programs to burn an ISO to a USB. Fedora Media Writer, BalenaEtcher etc.

But if Windows needs something special which only Rufus can do, you can propably setup an VM running windows and burn the USB there.

i actually try fedora but its convert whole usb a udf file and windows installer doesnt install because cant find usb i dont use balena so i try it any if its cant which wm i use ?

also every burn iso app make my usb udf and windows 11 installer says “install driver to show hardware”

you might need Windows drivers from the manufacturer website. These can be found via online search. I second the windows virtual machine idea to use rufus if it can add drivers to a windows iso (I assume it can?).

What is the error with ventoy? I used it for windows installs on serveral machines.

Also try Balena Etcher iso burner works great.

Try the appimage version.

Fedora Media Writer always does the job for me.

0x4002f if i try ventoy installer give me that error

it is but like before say every app make my usb udf rather than ntfs or fat32 and its want drivers for it in installer

Maybe your usb stick is damaged if you can’t even use the ventoy installer on the stick.

my usb is new so i dont think so i talk about windows installer not ventoy ventoy is booting i select windows installer then windows installer open i click next and after that i get that error also i notice that in opening in windows installer its show me windows logo not my bios logo its like i boot regular one rather than uefi one

Ventoy has a known bug right now. Fedora media writer wont work for windows. have you tried Balena Etcher the app image version should do it. I have used it before.

i will try it if its work i will be so happy

i try it doesnt work its give me error in first place “missing partition”

Install Windows 11 on virt-manager. You can get their free version from Microsoft evaluation center and once you’re done insert the USB, download media creation tool and follow the instructions there. I know this method worked fine for me in the past, so hopefully it does now for you , too!

I heard about the latest version of windows
version 24H2 not playing nice with anything but
the official windows iso maker. Get the release
23H2 and it should work. use eatcher again.

This method worked for me, you don’t need any special tools just use your favorite partitioning tool to create a 1GB FAT32 partiton and the rest as NTFS, then copy the files over. Full instructions here: Creating a bootable Windows 11 USB flash drive in Linux

Ventoy should also work btw, you just need to select the “wimboot” option when booting the ISO.
