So, before I changed the pads and replaced the thermal compound with PTM, I was getting in game temps in the high 70s low 80s (Hogwarts Legacy, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc.). Afterward (and after I cranked down the heatsink) I’m getting high 80s in Hogwarts. I’m also getting inconsistent FPS. It was dropping below 60 and even stuttering in the single digit range (4-6 FPS). I’m using the Arctic P12 Pro fan. Should I try the Arctic MX-6? New PTM?
Aaaand of course I just broke the head off of one of the hex head bolts holding the heatsink in.
