I’d like to install Aurora on my friend’s laptop, as I think it would be perfect for him. There is only one problem: he has an ASUS laptop (the same model as mine), and there is an issue with setting the battery charge threshold. It can be changed through the KDE Power settings, but it always reverts back to 100% after every reboot, and while there are some workarounds, I am not sure if they will work on Aurora, as I have no real experience with immutable distributions.
Is it possible to install rog-control-center or bat on Aurora, and will the battery charge limits work correctly? If not, are there any other ways to set a permanent limit for him? He is an older person, not very tech‑savvy, with only a little Linux experience (Linux Mint), so it needs to be something I can configure once and then leave it.
