High CPU Usage shortly after login

So is anybody else seeing some rather high CPU usage when rpm-ostree starts checking for updates?

Generally, about ten/fifteen minutes after booting, this laptop (i5-2540m, 16GB Ram) rpm-ostree start-daemon fires off, and minimum, 2 cores are going to 100% usage, and the thing heats up like a firecracker.

I just feel like this probably isn’t intended behavior

Hi @SFaulken, for the past few days I’m getting this kind of behavior from the cpu but when I have a look at htop it’s says it’s firefox who’s going crazy with the ram usage ( yeah almost 100%)… and I have only 15-20max tabs open.

I haven’t booted that machine back into bluefin in a week or two, but I’ll check again tonight.
