I noticed that the GitHub releases for Bazzite has the latest stable set to August. Does this mean that there haven’t been any security updates since August or are there images being auto generated when Fedora downstream pushes a security update?
Those releases are more marketing or milestones than anything else, Bazzite builds multiple times per week, and also has daily testing builds, etc. They don’t reflect the actual freshness of the software, it’s more of a rollup of all the changes we’re making to the images themselves.
This is a good place to see which versions are being published: bazzite versions · ublue-os · GitHub
You can also observe the image builds happening by following the blinking lights in this section: Workflow runs · ublue-os/bazzite · GitHub
Antheas just finished up automated changelogs, so soon you’ll see the exact changes for each update for all the packages, which is something that’d we’ve needed for a while. Then it will be much more clear as to the exact updates you’ve been receiving.
