Default to mirrored screens on installer

Hello, I just installed bazzite and I had to run through the installer sideways because I use two monitors, one is rotated and it happened to choose that one. I think a sane default would be to mirror the screens during the install to avoid this. That way regardless of your monitor setup, you probably have one working.

Is this easy to do? Is there a reason it isn’t the default?

Thanks

Just want to bump this. I am happy to contribute if someone could point me in the right direction. I tried looking through the repo and calamares repo for an easy checkbox or true/false switch but I couldn’t find anything obvious.

I talked to Jorge at SCALE this year and he mentioned that they do not use Calamares but anaconda. I don’t really know where to start with that - he mentioned it would probably be a pain to do this but I am happy to look into it if someone points me to the correct place.

We will be moving away from the Fedora Anaconda installer. Bluefin already has the LiveISOs that use the FyraLabs Readymade installer.
