Could you please verify that the Linux kernel of Bazzite is still configured with a 1000 Hz tick-rate?

I have seen conflicting reports about this.

My understanding is that since Fedora uses a 1000 Hz kernel tick-rate, so does Bazzite.

Is that still true?

Also, how can a user verify this for themselves, since there is no /proc/config.gz available on Bazzite?

A friendly Reddit user just provided the correct answer:

cat /usr/lib/modules/$(uname -r)/config | grep ‘CONFIG_HZ=’ works and shows 1000Hz.
