Cannot Update Aurora Surface: Multiple kernels found in /usr/lib/modules

I am quite unsure if this is the right place to post; if it is not, do tell, and I will delete this and move my question elsewhere.

When I try to update, whether with rpm-ostree upgrade or with the Aurora “System Update”, I get the following error: error: Committing: Multiple kernels found in /usr/lib/modules.

I do not have much experience with kernels, but when going to /usr/lib/modules, there is only one folder.

When I install specific versions (e.g. rpm-ostree rebase ostree-image-signed:docker://ghcr.io/ublue-os/aurora-surface:40-20240525) this error does not appear for all versions that I tested until version 40-20240525. For the versions after that, the error appears again.

I wonder whether this has anything to do with the fact that I am running the Surface version of Aurora on my Surface Pro 7+, which of course uses a custom kernel?

Thank you for your help; do tell me if I should provide any more information.

Just wanted to mention I have the same issue with my Surface running Bluefin with the surface kernel.
