Black screen after logging in

So, I had been playing around with the KDE Wallpaper Engine support, and I must’ve been switching between unsupported presets too fast, because eventually the wallpaper froze as black even when I chose a solid color from the normal settings. So I reboot, log in, and the entire desktop is solid black, can’t do anything, but I can see the cursor. I can also access the terminal but I’m not very knowledgeable.

Reading into this, I found mentions of corrupted configuration files? Is there a way to “repair” an installation without losing files? Or repair Plasma?
