Aurora-DX Installation failure

While trying to install aurora-dx-stable on a spare partition of my AMD desktop, I consistently get an error in the installer:

The command 'ostree container image deploy --sysroot=/mnt/sysimaage --image=/run/install/repo/aurora-dx-stable --transport=oci --no-=signature-verification' exited with the code 1.

The packaging-log on the virtual terminal suggests an error writing the grub2 config

INFO:program:error Performing deployment: Bootloader write config: grub2-mkconfig: Child process exited with code 1

This has occurred on two different USB copies that each pass the “test the media and install” process.

What am I doing wrong?

Custom partitioning is unsupported, try giving it an entire disk.

If you’re on a GPT formatted UEFI system, try getting to a console (ctrl+alt+f4(?)) and mounting your EFI partition. There’s a good chance you can see how a bad script malformed the config file. Easiest thing to do is to delete the entire Fedora folder from the EFI partition and restart the install. Should work fine from there.
