What is the thing called when you first boot your new install of a custom image where the dialog box asks you whether you want to install certain packages? And then the thing downloads your selected packages from Flathub? Is that a portal?
I want to pitch this to Fedora so that when users first boot they can get easy access to apps that normally come with a distro that’s using their selected desktop environment OR apps that you expect to have preinstalled in general like LibreOffice. Maybe you can even have a pre-selected “desktop suite” of apps that pulls down all of the apps that are missing from the atomic variant of the mainline spin?
