Are asusctl and rog-control-center still needed for ROG Ally?

In recent Bazzite Buzz I noticed that bazzite-ally image is depreciated and recommend to rebaseing to bazzite-deck. But I found out compare to bazzite-ally, bazzite-deck image is missing two packages, which is asusctl and rog-control-center.

I wonder are these two packages still needed for ROG Ally? And I also need asusctl to adjust fan curves, is it safe to simply layer these packages?

Handheld Daemon handles all of the functionality from both of those packages now. Fan curves, TDP, charge limiting, RGB, etc.

Sorry for highjacking the thread. Does HHD handle the sleep LED (Lightbulb icon LED on top of the Ally)? I cannot figure out how to prevent it from pulsing when the Ally is in sleep mode.
