Hi there! New to the community. I just started using Bluefin, been on windows for awhile.
But I’ve played with Linux for 20 years, on and off, mostly Debian variants, so Fedora is new to me, as is immutable OS using flatpaks etc. I understand there are limitations, but I don’t think this is one of them?
I installed boxes, then I installed a fresh standard Win11 from the official ISO, bypassing TPM and making a local account.
Once installed, I tried to adjust the resolution in boxes, no option. I tried to adjust it in windows, it is greyed out.
After some googling, I realized I needed virt-viewer, so I installed that in windows and rebooted. Still no dice.
From what I understand, this is all that is needed? Some threads talked about installing a VM side plugin to make it work, but a silverblue thread said that boxes already includes QEMU and so it should jsut work out of the box?
I’m a bit out of my depth here, and this type of system being so new, the information is hard to come by. Sorry if it’s obvious, but any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Tom
