VM Box install stalling

Hi all,
I wanted to test out Bazzite within a virtual machine as I am looking to build a mini-PC/console with the SteamDeck like interface. The installation itself was excruciatingly slow, and after a reboot, I could actually log in, but it was just a black screen.

I used the VM image to install, and I was generous with the resources assigned, but wondering, is there a specific VM setup required for this to work by chance?

I ran in to this issue too when running in virtualbox. I found that changing the “Graphics Controller” settings in virtualbox fixed it. I cant remember which one i changed it too, but just try another one as there are only 3 you can choose from (VBoxVGA, VMSVGA and VBoxSVGA).

Thanks for the tip, I tried all the different options but it didn’t improve performance. All good, I picked up a cheap mini-PC and can just install and test it directly :slight_smile:
