Unable to Boot - Aurora

Had an issue with a 2 week old install of Aurora that I put in for my parents. Last sunday while my Dad was using the system, it froze up on him. Per him, when he would type it would appear in the upper left corner, everything was locked up so he held the power button down and rebooted it. Instead of booting, it went into recovery mode. I was not able to grab a copy of the rdsosreport.txt file (my mistake as this was a first). The error we would get was “Failed to connect to system scope bus via local transport: No such file or directory” Then state it couldn’t find specified OSTree.

Only thing I could think of is I preinstalled Aurora on the hard drive before installing it in the case. I see three partitions on the disk, one that is 1mb and not partition table (thinking this was supposed to be a fat32 partition), an ext4 partiion and my btrfs partion.

I was able to get his files with no issues but I’m going to reinstall aurora this time on the actual hardware. I’m not convinced its a bad hard drive despite being brand new or some sort of bug. Thought I would ask in the Discourse here and get everyone’s opinion on the issue
