Sunshine service not starting correctly at boot

Hi everyone, I have a small annoying problem with sunshine. At the moment, the sunshine service doesn’t start automatically at boot on my host desktop pc.
if I try to connect a client (steam deck) through Moonlight app, I get the error:
“Host returned error: Failed to initialize video capture/encoding. Is a display connected and turned on? (error 503)”.

Workaround: go in desktop mode, Termin, turn off and on sunshine service with the command “just setup-sunshine” and everything works again, even back in Gamescope mode.

A couple Bazzite versions ago it was not like this, sunshine worked on boot automatically in Gamescope mode.

Could anyone working on a new sunshine version take a look at this and fix it in a future update please?

Hate to bump an old topic like this, but this issue is still persisting. I am having the same behavior on both my desktop and HTPC. Sunshine requires either to run the above command or restart the service from the web portal. This is happening even if there is a display always powered on. My desktop never has the display sleep and my HTPC is using an EDID emulator to allow me to get over 60FPS over Moonlight. This is a pretty critical issue for me, causing me to completely avoid restarts at time to ensure it is always functioning.

I had the same issue. LACT seemed to be my issue. After removing LACT started working again
