Save language parameter for Opera flatpak

I just installed the Opera browser on my fresh installed Bluefin. I would like to change the language of the Opera browser to Dutch. For Linux, Opera asks to add the parameter: --lang=nl (for Dutch) to a file for displaying the app in another language. But how do I save or change this because all files are read-only in Bluefin?

There are some topics in the Opera forum regarding Ubuntu en Linux Mint and regular Fedora. But not for the immutable Bluefin I’m currently using.

Any ideas? Many thanks!

You can move the opera .desktop file to ~/.local/share/applications/ and then edit the file

EDIT: oh its propably a flatpak, then that won’t work

You can use this app to edit the launch parameters of your flatpaks.

You can also use Flatseal to add / remove env vars, etc.

One of my most heavily used system flatpaks as I adopt new flatpack packaged apps.

j0rge, I had not seen Pins before. Thanks for the heads up. Looks like a simplified version of Flatseal. Going to have to take a look …

Many thanks for the tip! It worked by changing the parameter via Pins!

It‘s neat, also has the convenient feature to hide app entries
