Oobe in developer settings, if selected causes an unrecoverable reboot sequence

This is extremely bad situation. Selecting oobe in developer options / settings on PC installation of Bazzite creates an unrecoverable situation - it creates a never ending loop of boot to first time installation without any possibility, after selecting language and time zone, system downloads then reboots automatically, taking you back to the same spot. There is no option to undo this setting at this stage but to reinstall the entire system and all the games if you have no backup.

Please, please tell me how to recover from this, I will loose 2 weeks of lots of man hours and I am sure many more others will land in the same situation.

I am using the very latest images of Bazzite as of the date of this message.

This is something Valve made for SteamOS and hid in the developer options intended for SteamOS. We have no control over the Steam UI to hide this. File an issue on the Github repo and use this for conversation, but those settings are dangerous and unknown territory since Valve controls what those do.
