New aurora versions are not available on github container registry

Greetings,

I’ve been racking my head for a few hours trying to update my system manually because it kept saying via notifications and in the terminal that it hasn’t been updated for a month, I’m on version 42.20251024.1.

I saw multiple new stable releases on Releases · ublue-os/aurora · GitHub ; however, finally I found that there are no new containers in the registry: aurora-dx-nvidia versions · ublue-os · GitHub

Is there a new registry that I missed in the docs?

Yes you are on the latest image that is available for the nvidia (legacy) drivers. These images are already deprecated and won’t be receiving updates anymore.

If you have a new Nvidia card (16XX ->) rebase to the nvidia-open images, which are still supported.
