I’m wondering about laptop power optimisation:
usually at other distributions I’d use powertop and try to include the recommended tune settings in etc but bluefin is an immutable distro so etc is read only, also powertop was removed from bluefin. So what is the recommended way to use the tune settings powertop recommends? I have installed powertop and started the systemd service but this created a separated branch and made the upgrade process slower so any recommendations are welcome.

/etc isn’t read-only you can turn on the powertop settings if you want to. Short of autosuspending USB and wifi there susaly aren’t many suggestions it has for bluefin. I think things are already pretty optimized
powertop is installed after the latest weekly update so issue solved for now.
