depends how you “pinned”.
If you rebase to a specific date image then you wont receive updates until you rebase back to stable
This is the recommended way to make sure you won’t get updated. If you just pin a deployment with sudo ostree admin pin X then it will still try to update it when the service runs.
That’s the way I went. So, it looks like my turning off auto-updates there was needed.
I’d considered rebasing back to Bazzite 43.20260420 instead. But, the problem I’m having with Bazzite 44 is limited (so far) to just one flatpak and I thought I’d let the newest version continue updating to see if that gets fixed. I can always boot into the old version for my occasional needs for that flatpak.
