Help getting Envision installed?

Greetings, all. I recently purchased a Meta Quest 3S and have been working on setting up as much as I can on the Linux end for my Steam games to run. As I understand it, there are roughly 92 million different applications to achieve this, and each of them works great with some games that none of the other applications like. So, after getting ALVR, SteamVR, and WiVRn running, Envision’s next. I’m following this guide, and everything goes smoothly until I get to axr envision install – it does its thing downloading and compiling and installing for ~15 minutes, then crashes:

Installing src/envision to /home/mike/.local/bin
Installing /var/home/mike/.local/share/atomic-xr/envision/data/icons/org.gabmus.envision.svg to /home/mike/.local/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps
ERROR: Unhandled python OSError. This is probably not a Meson bug, but an issue with your build environment.
FAILED: meson-internal__install
/usr/bin/meson install --no-rebuild
ninja: build stopped: subcommand failed.

Any ideas what to try next? Perhaps more importantly, how do I clean up the crap left behind by this attempt in the event it proves futile?

Much obliged!
