GUI displays offscreen

I recently enabled tailscale and if I try to view the “settings” they are displayed below the bottom of the screen and I have no idea how to access them. Is there something obvious I am missing?

I have the same problem. I usually end up changing settings via the command line.

That is an issue with the Tailscale QS extension. There is a long discussion on their github about this but no fix yet.

The same happens if you use mullvad as exit nodes, the list is so long that it goes “out of the display” and no way to scroll.

You can install Tailscale Status extension which imo works better than the QS extension.

Here’s the issue: Tailscale settings extend past the bottom of the screen · Issue #11 · joaophi/tailscale-gnome-qs · GitHub

I use the command line tailscale exit-node suggest as a workaround.

It’s awesome how every issue I discover is already covered. Thanks for the awesome support.
